The Office of Student Activities and Leadership (OSAL) is here to connect you with peers and start shaping your Chaminade experience today. OSAL offers many events and activities for students who are full-time, part-time, commuter or residents during the noon and evening hours. In addition to student activities, OSAL provides leadership development and accommodates over 30 clubs and organizations on-campus. These enjoyable co-curricular programs and activities build social skills, create community, and enhance the overall college experience.
Pacific Island Review and International Extravaganza
Cultural immersion is a unique experience that can open doors to a deeper understanding of an unfamiliar place. You’re never going to know a place as intimately as the people who live there, but through cultural immersion experiences, you can begin to understand it all a little better. The Chaminade tradition offers Pacific Island Review (PIR) and Extravaganza a biannual event that joins our community from all over the world to share their experiences. OSAL coordinates the program with food, culture, music, movies, clothing and dances of the Pacific.

Recycling on Campus
A new program OSAL is coordinating and managing well is the recycling on campus. With the help of our Chaminade community we will continue to contribute to our island’s sustainability. During the weekdays our student coordinator’s collect recycles, and on the weekends it is sorted at the recycling center. A recycling label and logo are found on the blue bins around campus. To view the OSAL recycling schedule for Spring 2018 please click here.
All money collected from the recycles go directly back to our Chaminade students.
